We met in 1984 on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera as teenagers, and 30 years later we are reunited. We both love the water and the ocean. John is a retired deputy and Kim is a retired art teacher. The 1100 sq ft Lakehouse, situated closer to the water, boasts two bedrooms, including a master suite with a Queen bed, and a second bedroom with twin bunk beds and another twin bed, ideal for romantic getaways or small family retreats. Enjoy a fully furnished interior with modern amenities, including an indoor gas or wood fireplace, high speed Wi-Fi, full size washer and dryer, and a covered outdoor space perfect for relaxation and family games. An outdoor shower allows for refreshing lake rinses after a day of fun.The Guesthouse, designed for couples, features a 720 sq ft open-concept living area with a king-size therapeutic mattress, a queen sofa sleeper sectional couch, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and an outdoor TV. As a family of four we enjoyed our stay! We love the views of the lake, swimming on the lily pad, going in the hot tub and the nearby restaurants and convenient grocery store.

Happy to hear the kids enjoyed the kayaks and even getting out on the big lily mat when the water was 57°! Powell Lakehouse has all the comforts of home because it is our home and not just a rental. We just replaced the old hot tub with a brand new 5-person Aspen spa. Come back anytime!
